The Property
Villa Josefa is a traditional, Malloran style finca close to the town of Pollenca in the North East of the Island. Sitiuated on the private Can Totxa estate which features just two other properties and approached via a long private driveway, it has the feel of an ancient Spanish manor house and is built using local stone.
When you reach the courtyard entrance, stone steps lead up to an impressive wooden front door, and into a spacious hallway with a high ceiling. Your expert villa host can greet you here on arrival with some cool, refreshing drinks. The service at Villa Josefa is really first class and your private chef will cook you delicious meals to suit you that are as impressive as the villa itself.
The grounds at the property are beautiful too. A large lawn at the back encircles a dreamy infinity pool and everything is enclosed by an attractive stone wall with mature trees and shrubs softening the edges. This means the villa is both exceptionally private and secure enough for children to play freely. There is a large open terrace and a brick barbeque – great for alfresco dining with friends and if you want to completely relax and switch off, there are comfortable loungers next to the pool.
Inside, the villa has cool terracotta floors and is decorated in earthy Mediterranean colours, with soft linens, big squashy sofas and plenty of natural touches. Each of the four, ensuite, double bedrooms are fully air conditioned and are light and airy with lots of storage space. Two of them also have access to a beautiful balcony with views over the garden and mountains beyond.
Parents will particularly love Villa Josefa. The fully stocked playroom, found on the ground floor close to all the other main facilities is wonderfully convenient and has plenty of indoor and outdoor toys as well as creative play materials – there is no need to bring any other supplies with you, let your private nanny take care of it all. She can be as hands on as you like allowing you total freedom to complete relax on you holiday.
